NOTE MATCH

This is a simple small child's game, created with the visual programming language Delphi.   The game involves remembering and matching a series of notes which are randomly generated.

The object of this game is to correctly remember and match the randomly generated series of notes in 10 NEW GAMES in a row.  For each note played, there is a flash of colour to help remember which note was played.  A screen-shot of the game part the way through the REGULAR level is shown below.

Click the New Game button to hear the sequence of notes and then click the black notes in sequence to see the flashes of colour and hear the notes in the correct sequence.   If you are correct a red panel appears to confirm your choice, otherwise a blue 'Hard Luck' panel appears.

In the screen-shot above, the highest number of correct sequences obtained in previous tries at the REGULAR level is 7 and the player has got the first sequence correct in another try to get 10 in a row at this level.   The player now clicks the NEW GAME button to see and hear the second sequence of notes to try and get 2 in a row and so on to reach 10 in a row with no mistakes.  After clicking the NEW GAME button, if a player is uncertain about the sequence they can click the PLAY IT AGAIN button to hear the sequence again without losing any score.

There are four levels of increasing difficulty to play, with more notes to remember at the higher levels.  Try and do 10 in a row for each level!
