This is a simple small child's game, created with the visual programming language Delphi. Click the New Game button to set the characters at random. There are 3 different themes and 3 levels of difficulty with more characters appearing at the higher levels. Click a character next to the empty space to move it to the space to try and form a line of the same characters either vertically or horizontally. They will then disappear to be replaced by different characters in random order.

In
the screen shot of the game above the Difficulty is set at HARD and the
Sesame Street theme selected. Just one more click is needed to
complete the line-up of BettyLou's in the Sesame Street characters and this
should take the score to 2 and give a boost to the number of clicks
left. When complete, the line-up of BettyLou characters will be replaced by a random
selection of Sesame Street characters and the game continues as the player
decides which character they are going to try and move into a vertical or
horizontal line next.
So you keep repeating these line-ups to get as many line -ups as you can before you run out of clicks.
With each successful line-up you score a point and get more clicks. The
player in the game above will want to try and beat his or her previous best
score of 8 line-ups! Watch out for the
immovable objects that appear as the game progresses!
The
characters are at different positions in each new game. Try and
improve your maximum score with each game played. Click the New
Game
button to play again, choosing a different theme if you wish.
(Note: To run the game, double click the downloaded file lineup.exe. )
